Dulverton Middle and Community School is part of the Federation of Exford and Dulverton Schools and is situated in the small town of Dulverton on the southern fringe of Exmoor National Park. This beautiful location offers us the opportunity to enhance our curriculum with unique outdoor activities.
Along with a team of excellent, dedicated and specialist subject trained staff, we offer the facilities of a networked computer suite providing up to the minute information technology with internet linked interactive whiteboards in every classroom and video conferencing linking us to our federated schools. Our school site benefits from spacious playing fields, floodlit multi-use games area and an outdoor heated swimming pool.
Whilst we provide the whole of the National Curriculum, we also offer our unique and envied Exmoor Curriculum. Validated by the Exmoor National Park Authority and sponsored by the Exmoor Society, we use our beautiful environment as the backdrop; children experience sailing, kayaking, camping, shelter building and hill walking - an incredible opportunity.
We provide a broad and balanced curriculum including individual learning programmes for children with special needs and those who are gifted and talented. The whole school works in co-operation to create a stimulating and enjoyable environment within which to learn, ensuring the wellbeing and respect of one another.
